The Silent Orders 1
With The Silent Orders 1, Taketo Muroi launches a series that departs significantly from the vibrant colors of Latent Grains , instead creating a cosmic, almost sacred order. The image depicts not a narrative universe, but a structured silence. Stars, galaxies, and planetary bodies appear not chaotic, but arranged as if according to an invisible grammar.
At its center is the horizontal axis: a sequence of dark, almost black spheres reminiscent of planetary phases or an abstract timeline. To the left is a luminous celestial body—sun or moon—and to the right, the gradual disappearance of light. This sequence evokes cycles: becoming and passing away, visibility and withdrawal. It is not a dramatic cosmic event, but a silent process beyond any human influence.
The space itself appears deep and serene. The Milky Way stretches across the image like a soft breath, while individual galaxies flicker like distant memories. Here, AI doesn't function as a generator of the spectacular, but as an instrument of order: it creates a world that seems to follow rules older than language.
The Silent Orders 1 is thus less a picture of the universe than a picture of order itself. Of systems that are not explained, but simply exist. The silence in the title is not a deficiency, but a state: an invitation not to understand this order, but to perceive it.
