The editors and curators

AI Edition Berlin is the platform for digital art with a clear focus on works created by artificial intelligence (AI) and new technologies. We offer collectors a carefully curated selection of the most innovative artists worldwide who create art at the highest level. We combine the tradition and history of computer art with the pioneering aesthetics and the interaction of man and machine in art.

Our expertise is based on many years of experience with Photo Edition Berlin , where we have been known as an international gallery, platform and collection for photography and digital art since 2008. For years we have presented positions in contemporary photography, with a particular focus on concrete and generative photography as well as works from Germany, China, Ibero-America and the Czech avant-garde. We have published numerous books and catalogues on our exhibitions and, as international curators, have advised museums, collections and institutions.

Since 2022, we have broadened our focus to include a special focus on AI art, as well as pioneers of computer art who have shaped the digital art landscape since the 1960s. Our platform stands out through this in-depth exploration of technology-based art, placing the work from then until now in a unique, curated context.

With this well-founded history and a clear view of the future , AI Edition Berlin leads collectors, artists and art lovers into the next phase of art development.
