Latent Grains 48 concludes the series – and acts as a deliberately placed counterpoint to the often meditative, expansive transitions that preceded it. Here, the action intensifies: colors collide. A deep black opens up the space from which luminous fields of color emerge – violet, blue, cyan, green, yellow. The transitions are soft, but the zones are clearly distinct from one another, almost like energetic nodes.

This final image feels less contemplative than the preceding ones, more like a summary. The AI ​​displays its full range here: the same prompt no longer evokes calm, but rather tension. Color transforms into movement, into a force field. It's as if the system decided at the end of the series to showcase everything it's capable of one last time.

Formally, the work is reminiscent of an abstracted aperture, of light folding and refracting.
