The work from the series "Sacred Mushrooms and Flowers" depicts a female figure enveloped in a surreal garment of floral and mushroom-like patterns. The figure appears to stand in a dense, mythical forest—a place that is neither entirely nature nor entirely dream, but rather an intermediate world where plants and spiritual beings exist as equals. The ornamentation of the garment merges with patterns of spores, leaves, and flower umbels, causing the body's contours to almost blend into the surroundings: humanity and nature exist in a symbiotic relationship.
The colors and forms appear hallucinatorily heightened, as if perceived through the prism of another consciousness—a landscape of mushrooms, mosses, hidden patches of light and shadow, in which the depicted figure appears like a guardian or priestess of the forest. In Thai animistic and folkloric traditions, mushrooms, plants, and forests are often considered the abode of spirits, guardian beings, or sacred forces—the artist takes up this idea and translates it into a contemporary visual language in which the boundary between the visible and the invisible blurs.
The figure symbolizes a mediator between humanity and nature, between everyday life and ritual, between reality and vision. AI generation enables a visual manifestation of this ancient spiritual perception—a tribute to indigenous belief systems and, at the same time, a modern, psychedelic new beginning.
