Clint Enns – In Law
In the middle of a commercial kitchen, where plates, pots, and steam set the stage, a chef sits on the verge of collapse. His head in his hands, his face flushed, while behind him the crew continues to work as if there were no tomorrow. The dishes in front of him are arranged, but nothing seems finished, nothing resolved.
Clint Enns' Dans le Jus – a French expression meaning "under pressure" in the restaurant industry – transforms everyday work into a parable about overexertion. The kitchen, usually a place of perfect choreography, becomes a stage for failure, an arena where exhaustion becomes visible.
Here, the AI doesn't imagine the glamour of haute cuisine, but rather its dark side: burnout, the feeling lost between routine and expectation. Humor and tragedy merge into one another – like a farce that no longer needs a punchline.
