Niépce Recoded" is a homage to the archetype of photography, Nicéphore Niépce's 'View from the Window' from 1827, and its interpretation by artificial intelligence. Based on the digital translations of the image that Andreas Müller-Pohle created in the 1990s under the title "Digital Scores", the project comprises 32 machine-generated images - a journey from the analogue beginnings of photography to its digital coding and the metamorphoses of artificial intelligence.
